M: Thanks for helping, Mrs Taylor. I'm so nervous about the exam. People that have taken the class already say it's really difficult.
W: Well, the most important thing to know is that when abnormal behavior causes problems in living is when a person is considered mentally ill and is probably in need of medical help.
M: That sounds easy enough....
Câu 41: What is the relationship between the man and woman?
Câu 42: What has made the man nervous about the upcoming exam?
Câu 43: When is someone considered mentally ill?
M: I would like to exchange this digital camera. It won't turn on.
W: Did something happen to it? Perhaps you dropped it or spilled liquid on it?
M: No, it just stopped working....
W: Ok, one moment, I will get another camera. In the meantime, please fill out this paperwork.
Câu 44: How many houses has the woman sold this week?
Câu 45: How does the man feel?
Câu 46: Where is the woman going now?
M: Did you see the game last night, Jill? Rooney had two goals!
W: No! I spent the whole day studying for exams. I've barely had any free time since I started Medical School.
M: Why don't you come to my house tomorrow for a break?
W: OK, but only for an hour. And don't try to persuade me to stay longer or I will fail!
Câu 47: Who is Rooney?
Câu 48: Why does the man invite the woman to his house?
Câu 49: What is the best description of Jill?
W: What time do you land tomorrow?
M: 4:20 pm, but with the bad weather, it is uncertain. Why?
W: I thought we could share a cab to the conference. But I arrive in LA. at 1:30 and I don't want to wait around for three hours.
M: I guess we'll see each other at the marketing meeting then.
Câu 50: How are the men and woman arriving in LA?
Câu 51: What is the purpose of their trip to LA?
Câu 52: Why won't the man and woman share a cab?
M: Much of the labor we do in the factory is extremely tiring.
W: Yes, I know...
M: One 10-minute break and a half hour lunch break is not enough. We would like two twenty-minute breaks.
W: You know how much I respect my employees. I will see what I can do.
Câu 53: Who is the woman in relation to the man?
Câu 54: What does the man request?
Câu 55: How does the woman respond?
W: I was getting worried about you!
M: Thanks for your concern. I was really sick for a while.
W: We've missed you! The office just isn't the same without you here. How does it feel to be back?
M: Overwhelming. I am so behind with paperwork!
Câu 56: Why was the woman worried about the man?
Câu 57: What did the woman mean when she said the office wasn't the same?
Câu 58: How does the man feel about returning to work?
M: Could you tell me how to get to Bronson Park? I'm supposed to meet a client there.
W: That's on the other side of town. How did you end up here?
M: The man at the convenience store must have given me bad directions.
W: Well, I promise to give you flawless ones.
Câu 59: What surprises the woman?
Câu 60: On what does the man blame getting lost?
Câu 61: How does the woman reassure the man?
M: Can you work late this week? We need to get the marketing proposal completed by Friday.
W: Every day but Wednesday. My son has his band concert.
M: Thanks. I know this is last minute. But to make up for it, I'm paying for pizzas every night.
W: I never say no to pizza!
Câu 62: Why will the man and woman be working late?
Câu 63: In addition to being a professional, the woman is also:
Câu 64: One aspect of working late that the woman is looking forward to is:
W: Did you send off the documents I left on your desk to Milan?
M: You didn't leave anything on my desk.
W: What?! We'll lose the account if the Milan office does not receive them. I'm sure I left them. Please check again.
M: I don't need to. I can see the documents on your desk.
Câu 65: What is one of the man's job responsibilities?
Câu 66: What may happen if the Milan office doesn't receive the documents?
Câu 67: Why didn't the documents get sent out to Milan?
W: Should I come to work for your company, I think you'll find that I am efficient and dedicated.
M: How do you feel about being in charge of others?
W: I am experienced in the art of delegation. I find it important to entrust all employees with important tasks in order to keep the company running efficiently.
Câu 68: What kind of interaction is this?
Câu 69: Why does the woman say she is efficient and dedicated?
Câu 70: How does the woman feel about delegation?

Tonight, the Houston Comets will take on the Utah Starzz in the first round of the play offs! All eyes will be on Houston's new "Big Three." Our public schools' reading scores are among the very worst in the country! This is unacceptable. Our children are our future and we are not only letting them down, but damaging the future of our city if we allow children to graduate from high school without being able to read. These children will not be able to find jobs and ultimately plummet into poverty. It's not just an education problem; it's the entire city's problem. It is OUR problem. Action must be taken immediately!

Thanks for the ongoing ankles on downtown L.A.'s mosaic of peopk who compose the homeless population. Although we may often paint the homeless with a broad brush dipped in prejudice, these articles allow us to see why people end up losing their houses and how the majority of the homeless end up in downtown Los Angeles, Hollywood or Santa Monica, where the majority of homeless services are located. It might be interesting to point out the myriad laws that allow such cities as Beverly Hills, Rancho Palos Verdes and San Marino to cast out the homeless from their boundaries.

Plot summary for Runaway Bride
Ike Graham, New York columnist, always writes his text at the last minute. This time, a drunken man in his favorite bar tells Ike about Maggie Carpenter, a woman who always flees from her grooms in the last possible moment. Ike, who does not have the best opinion about females anyway, writes an offensive column without researching the subject thoroughly. The next day, Ike gets fired by his publisher (and former wife), because he went too far and faked the facts, which real journalists don't do. Ike's only way back into the business now is to do a fact-based report on Maggie and her upcoming fourth wedding attempt, which Ike predicts to fail again. So, as Ike circles Maggie, his prey-to-be, like a vulture, her opinion of him sinks to below zero. Not only is Ike waiting for her to fail again but the whole town is poking fun at Maggie about her mistakes. But that is a point which Ike doesn't like.
REVIEW FOR RUNAWAY BRIDE
RUNAWAY BRIDE begins with an interesting enough concept and that's where it stays. It's pretty obvious to the audience, and would be to any women with a brain, why "the bride" keeps leaving men standing like idiots at the altar. It's not hard to figure out. She's going to keep running until she finally discovers who SHE really is and stops trying to be what the men she chooses want her to be. If I figured this out in the first 5 minutes, why do I have to watch the rest of the film? Why exactly? This film never even tries to scratch the surface of these characters, replying on the premise that a bride running from the church, using various modes of transportation, will be engaging and funny enough to keep the audience interested. It's not. There was no suspense about whether or not she would actually go through with the ceremonies because it was obvious she wouldn't until she found herself, even after she found the man for her

HOW TO WRITE A 'THANK YOU' EMAIL
Writing a 'thank you' note after an employment interview, can be the key to getting a job offer. In these days of electronic communication, is it appropriate to send thank you letters by email? In most cases, yes. You can get your thank you letter out immediately, rather than have to wait for the postal service to deliver it. If the employer is making a quick hiring decious, time is of the essence. If there is no sense of urgency, you may still want to send a quick thank you email, along with a triaditional letter or note. You'll be reiterating your interest in the position sooner rather than later

This is a great experience for those who intend on becoming teachers, or just love working with kids. The rate for this position is $11-$13 an hour. No previous experience is needed, but it does help. All candidates must at least have a bachelor's degree.
